What We’re All About
Located in Michaelchurch Escley, close to the Black Mountains, Escley & District Sports Pavilion provides a convenient location for people to gather. The Cricket Club use the grounds regularly between April and October. The hardstanding Tennis courts are available all year round and a local football team meet weekly for a game, all aided by our floodlit court. The local youth group meet every Friday. The Hall can be used for events such as parties, quiz nights, fund raisers or exercise classes, we have two changing room facilities available.
Facilities Available
Floodlit all weather Tennis Court
You can use the Tennis courts in all weathers, any time day or night due to our floodlit court. The court is also set up to be used for Football, Basketball and many other sports. Contact for costs and more information.
Hall Hire
The Hall itself is well equipped with a kitchen, Mens and Ladies toilets, a spacious hall, tables, chairs, games. If you wish to hire out the hall for an upcoming event or to hold fitness classes, please get in touch for costs and more information.
Cricket
The home of Michaelchurch Escley's Crcket Team. The Cricket pitch is used between April and October for Practice and matches during the Cricket season. The team take good care of the Pavilion meeting up for clean up and maintenance days and we can thank them for general upkeep of the building. If you are a keen Cricketer or like to watch, come along, you will find more information on the team's page.
Youth Club
The Youth Club get together every Friday during Term time between 6.30 - 8pm. This is a parent volunteer run event which gives the local children somewhere safe to meet with their friends and play games. They have a tuck shop and table tennis. Children between the age of 8-15 are very welcome to join and it's a bargain at £1 per child.
